(AUG. 30) -- The Return to Sunset celebration is back this weekend from Sept. 1-3. 

There are plenty of events planned for the event, beginning with a Mix & Mingle on Friday night at the Clinton Building. Beginning at 6 p.m., those attending can mix and mingle and listen to live music. Tickets are on sale now for $15 and $20 at the door. 

Then on Saturday, the celebration will begin with a parade. Lineup begins at 10:30 a.m. at Lincoln Park with the parade starting at 11 a.m. 

Following the parade will be a day full of activities at Lincoln Park with plenty of vendors and food offerings, including barbecue. There also be bingo, football, bouncy houses, sprinklers and music. 

There is also a basketball game planned as well as a softball game at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are still needed for the softball game. 

Then on Sunday, there will be praise and worship at Westend Missionary Baptist Church with the service starting at 11 a.m.
