The City of Sikeston contracts with the Sikeston Regional Chamber and Area Economic Development, Corp. which serves as the community’s Chamber of Commerce, Department of Economic Development and Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

When the Sikeston Area Economic Development, Corp. (SAEDC) was created the community experienced tremendous growth. More than $97M in commercial building and renovations was invested in Sikeston. Additionally, 21 new single-family homes were constructed and along with renovations, $5.7M of residential construction was invested in our community in the first five years.
