The Annual Community Clean-Up Campaign will be held for 9 days beginning Saturday, April 24 and concluding Sunday, May 2, 2021.
The times will be from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The compost site, on Compress Road, will be open for Sikeston residents to bring any large bulky items, rubbish, yard waste, grass clippings, washers, dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, hot water heaters, commodes, tires no larger than 18” without rims, and household furniture to the site for disposal. Also, electric motors, rubber hoses and compressors must be detached from appliances. The site will be manned, and proof of residency will be required.
The following items will not be accepted: any hazardous materials or chemicals, asbestos materials, shingles, paint, LP Tanks, Fuel Containers, demolition waste, and batteries. No commercial dumping will be allowed.
