During yesterday’s Council meeting, the following actions were taken:
A. Awarded Bid #19-11, 2018 Zero Turn Commercial Lawn Sprayer, to Site One Landscape Supply from Cleveland, OH in the amount of $11,145.
B. Approved Bill #6106, Modification of Property Maintenance Penalty for Tall Grass. This update would indicate ten (10) inches in height as the violation for overgrown vegetation and weeds.
C. Approved Bill #6110, to authorize the re-plat of the Villas at Arbor Walk Subdivision located on Auburn Drive. This request to re-plat was made to change the numbering of the lots.
D. Approved Bill #6111, the rezoning of a tract of land in Wing Lake Estates, 3rd Addition (located South of Colonel George E. Day Parkway and North of U.S. Highway 60) from “AG” Agriculture to “R-4” Two Family Dwellings.
E. Approved Bill #6112, for approval of a proposed subdivision, Wing Lakes Estates, 3rd Addition (located South of Colonel George E. Day Parkway and North of U.S. Highway 60).
F. Other Items:
(a) Presented 1st Reading, Bill #6114, authorizing the City of Sikeston to enter into a certain option to purchase real estate on behalf of the Board of Municipal Utilities for future well and water treatment plant needs.
