Constructs and repairs complex concrete structures (curbs, sidewalks, dugouts etc.) utilizing controlled layouts, form construction, saw cutting, concrete removal, placement of joining materials and concrete finishing utilizing manual and machine tools.    Performs construction and maintenance of simple and complex buildings including rough and finish carpentry, and basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC improvements.  Constructs installs and maintains stormwater systems including pipe networks, concrete junctions and open channels.  Constructs and maintains athletic fields for public use including controlled layouts, placing engineered fill, laser grading, measuring and marking locations for defined points (goals, bases, mounds, etc) and general everyday maintenance (mowing, grading, marking, etc).  Conducts Park operations and maintenance duties to ensure assigned areas are maintained in a safe, high quality, and aesthetically pleasing condition.  Performs routine grounds keeping duties including, but no limited to, mowing grass, trimming trees and shrubbery, removing weeds, applying mulch, etc.  Oversees and participates in landscaping, carpentry, concrete work, trash removal, etc. as necessary to maintain the Parks Division grounds and structures.  Performs janitorial duties such as cleaning and stocking park facility restrooms and providing set-ups for the Clinton Building.  Removes storm debris, trees/limbs, snow and ice as needed using heavy equipment, trucks and hand tools and other tasks as assigned.  Provides maintenance assistance during set-up, presentation, and clean-up of special events as required.
