Council Action - September 25, 2017

During today’s Council meeting, Sikeston City Council took the following actions:
  1. Council approved of Bill #6071, Authorizing City of Sikeston to Enter Into a Certain Option to Purchase Real Estate (Future water well site for BMU)
  2. Council appointed Andy Caton to the Public Safety Advisory Board
  3. Susan Howle Werner and Libby Caskey were appointed to the SEMO University – Sikeston Campus – Advisory Board
  4. Other Items:

          Lynn Lancaster, Executive Director of Historic Downtown Sikeston, thanked the City of Sikeston and the Street Department for their help with the Wine Festival that was held over the weekend.  He indicated this was their largest festival to date with close to 1,000 people in attendance. 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned into Executive Session (Property).  Council’s next meeting is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Monday, October 2nd
