The City of Sikeston is seeking proposals from vendors for the purchase of one (1) Tactical Electronics 2nd Line EOD Tool Kit in the color “Coyote”. For bid specification requirements as well as the bid packet, click here.

Businesses wishing to respond must submit their sealed proposals to the Office of the City Clerk, 105 E. Center, Sikeston, MO 63801 no later than Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

The City of Sikeston is soliciting bids for the demolition and disposal of 209 Adams, 311 Jackson, 411 Kendall, 806 Ruth and 820 Ruth which is located within the city limits, due to Health and Safety violations creating a public nuisance and hazard to the citizens living in the various neighborhoods. The sealed bids will be subject to the terms and conditions listed in the bid packet and any special conditions set forth therein.

The sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 105 E. Center Street, Sikeston, Missouri 63801, until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Bids should have the vendor’s name and the bid number located on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be opened at that time in the C.D. Matthews room.  RFQ#17-22, ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City of Sikeston is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to perform the described professional services including design and construction inspection services for the project included in the bid packet.  If your firm would like to be considered for these consulting services, you may express your interest by responding to the appropriate office, which is indicated in the bid package.  Limit your letter of interest to no more than 10 pages.  This letter should include any information which might help us in the selection process, such as the persons or team you would assign to each project, the backgrounds of those individuals, and other projects your company has recently completed or are now active. It is required that your firm’s Statement of Qualification (RSMo 8.285 through 8.291) be submitted with your firm’s Letter of Interest, or be on file with the City of Sikeston.  The statement of qualification is not included in the total page count limit.

DBE firms must be listed in the MRCC DBE Directory located on MoDOT’s website at www.modot.gov, in order to be counted as participation towards an established DBE Goal. We encourage DBE firms to submit letters of interest as prime consultants for any project they feel can be managed by their firm.

It is required that your firm be prequalified with MoDOT and listed in MoDOT’s Approved Consultant Prequalification List, or your firm will be considered non-responsive.

RFP #17-19, SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES 

The City of Sikeston is requesting proposals for contractual solid waste services which encompass the collection, transportation and disposal of residential and public property solid waste materials within the corporate limits of the City of Sikeston beginning July 1, 2017.  To be considered, four (4) hard copies and one pdf copy of the vendor’s proposal must be received at the City of Sikeston, Office of the City Clerk, Attention:  RFQ #17-19, 105 E. ADDENDUM #1 

The Sikeston City Council during their March 16, 2017 meeting extended the deadline for submission of proposals for solid waste and recycling service.  RFP #17-19, Solid Waste and Recycling Services hereby amended as follows: 

Page 2, paragraph 2 shall read as follows:

Page 2, paragraph 4 is amended, as follows: 

Following a review of the proposals received, the Sikeston City Council intends to award a contract at the May 22, 2017 City Council Meeting to be held at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall. 

The effective date of the contract, July 1, 2017, remains unchanged.
