All vendors remain on the City’s active vendor list for one (1) year. If a firm does not respond to a request for bid or quotation during this one (1) year period, their name may be removed from the vendor list.

Bid # 19-25, Bomb Team Tool Kits

The City of Sikeston is soliciting bids for the supplying of three (3) complete explosive ordnance disposal team tool kits.   The sealed bids will be subject to the terms and conditions listed in the bid packet, and any special conditions set forth herein.

Bid packets may be obtained by contacting Sergeant Brian Delisle at Sikeston Department of Public Safety, 201 S. Kingshighway, Sikeston, Missouri 63801 or by clicking the link below.

The sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 105 E. Center Street, Sikeston, Missouri, 63801 until 2:00 PM, December 19, 2018. Bids should have the vendor’s name and the bid number located on the outside of the envelope.

Application for FY2018 Justice Assistance Grant

The City of Sikeston (Department of Public Safety) is submitting an application for the FY2018 Justice Assistance Grant funding for the City of Sikeston Department of Public Safety project which will provide Digital Data Storage for Sikeston’s on officer body worn cameras and related camera and radio accessories.   The grant amount based on part one crime is set at $14,521 with 3 % ($435.63) to be applied to becoming National Incident Based Reporting System compliant before 2021. 

The digital data storage will allow for secure storage of body camera video, maintained by a third party.
