Dates for the City of Sikeston’s Fall Clean-up, which gives residents an opportunity to dispose of bulky rubbish during their regular solid waste pick-ups, have been set for two weeks beginning September 27.

Residents with Monday and Thursday trash collection will have their fall clean-up opportunities on Monday, September 27 and Thursday, September 30. Those with Tuesday and Friday solid waste pick-up will have their spring clean-up collections on Tuesday, October 5 and Friday, October 8.  For more information click HERE.

We are pleased to announce that The Moving Wall, a half size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will be coming to Sikeston on September 9 thru the 13th, 2010.  It will be displayed at Rotary Park and open for public visitation 24 hours a day.
